The Size Matters Penis Enlarger is a fairly new entry into the world of penis extending. It offers a low cost solution (under $100) where similar devices are two or three times its price. What we intend to do is look at this product in terms of fit, adjustability, comfort, and most importantly, the ability to produce results!
This device is a traction-based, penis extending system that is placed on the penis so that spring tension stretches the length of the penis shaft gradually over time. The process is supposed to be painless and is done slowly over the course of several months.
The enlarger consists of several main parts: a plastic front and rear piece, spring loaded, metal adjustment bars, and a silicone noose to attachment.

The Size Matters Extender Experience
My first impression. The extender itself appears to be made pretty well. It does not look like a piece of junk but it is not overly impressive either. For example, the packaging is cheap and there are no accessories or other items included – just the extender and a small sheet containing instructions.
Metal parts. One notable aspect is that the metal parts on this product are brass – not stainless steel or steel coated with NITIN or chrome like on competing products. Even-so, I found that the metal is nicely machined and functions smoothly.
Assessing the quality. When comparing the weight and bulk of this product with a similar but more expensive product (SizeGenetics), the Size Matters enlarger seems lighter in weight and a little flimsy in comparison. The lighter weight is due to the use of smaller and thinner plastic parts as well as the use of less material on the metal parts. The flimsiness comes from loose tolerances where the threaded rods screw together and in the entire assembly. Although the rods and associated parts do not fit solidly, I don’t think that this should in any way affect its ability to function properly.
Comfort. Placing this device on your penis is not difficult and is identical to most other extenders on the market. When it came time to tighten the noose around my penis, I had to be very careful not to get pinched where the silicone tubing goes through the holes in the front carrier. Once in place, I didn’t care for the feel. Even though I had it adjusted as loosely as I could without slipping out, I still had some discomfort from the way that it squeezed me. In the instructions they recommend the use of a piece of a Baby Wipe or gauze to help eliminate discomfort so I tried that and it did work.
Too small. I soon realized that this product was not going to work for me, nor would it work for any other average sized guy! Because the device extends to a maximum of 5 inches, this thing would not adjust to my current erect length. There is no point in wearing an extender that is not able to stretch you beyond what you are capable of with an erection. To clarify, I was using this properly and was completely flaccid.
If your erect length is less than 5 inches then this extender might work for you. For those of us who are 5 inches in length or more when erect, we would have to buy additional parts to make this thing work.
No reference marks. While I had the extender on, I noticed something else. There are no reference marks on the tension bars. Most extenders have these marks so that you know where to set the tension each time and without them you are just guessing.
The screws. Lastly, I want to mention that I didn’t care for the adjustment rods on this product. When turning the thumbscrews, the threaded rods had a tendency to unscrew from the base parts which in my opinion should not happen. If I was going to use this thing on a regular basis, I would put some Locktite on them.
Results. Since I was able to attach this extender and it does appear to have a good amount of tension; I think that under the right circumstances, this product could be effective. It works on a simple concept – stretch the penis and in time it should increase in size.
Unless you are on a tight budget, you are the right size, and you don’t mind a little discomfort and screws that won’t cooperate, I would say to look elsewhere. There are several alternative products out there that can provide serious enlargement. To me, the Size Matters Penis Enlarger is more a novelty item than a serious penis extending system – it even says so on the bottom of their own package!
