The Fleshlight has been on our review to-do list for a few years, but has always been passed over – until now! A couple weeks ago I noticed that Fleshlight had an Asa Akira version with an exact copy of the porn-star’s sensuous little a-hole. It was then that I knew we had to get one for a review.

Fleshlight is a stroker or masturbation toy for men. It’s a self-contained, modern version of the old “pocket pussy” and is available in a variety of different models.
Some of the most popular porn-stars are used as each toy is created from a mold of one of three orifices: the mouth, pussy, and anus. This particular version is supposedly an exact replica of adult star, Asa Akira’s “Forbidden” area.
The product consists of two main parts: the outer shell or holder, and the inner sleeve. A hard plastic shell contains the soft inner part which is made from a thermo-plastic elastomer (TPE) material that mimics the feel of skin.

My Fleshlight Review
Truthfully, I expected the Fleshlight to be like similar toys we’ve reviewed: made in China with sketchy material quality. Boy was I wrong!
One of the first things I checked was the sleeve material. A lot of sex toy companies use this skin-like stuff (TPE/TPR) nowadays. It’s typically made in China and comes with the following issues: a bad odor, a sticky feel, and an oily residue emitted over time.
Fortunately, the Fleshlight has none of the problems that plague competing products. There’s only a slight odor but it’s not like chemicals, plasticizer, or anything that would keep me from using the toy. I suspect that six months down the road the sleeve will still be fine and show no signs of deterioration if used and cleaned properly. Unlike most toys that fall into this category, this one is manufactured in the USA and really does seem well made.
Another aspect of the Fleshlight that got my attention was its size. It has to be one of the largest manual strokers I’ve ever seen, let alone used. At around 10” long and 3.5” wide, it looks like an oversized flashlight. This flashlight though, is made for sticking your dick into, not for lighting things up!
USE AND FEEL.
Penetrating the opening went pretty good as long as I had a fairly strong erection. My girth is around 6” and the soft and stretchy material let me push my way in without an issue. Trying to imagine that this really was Asa’s sexy ass helped!
Oh yeah, they say you should only use water-based lube with the Fleshlight so that’s what I used. I seriously doubt you could even use this toy without it.
For me, the feel was very realistic although it could be a touch tighter (my personal taste). Also, there’s no inner texturing but I don’t think it needs it. The smooth canal makes it feel much more anal-like anyway. Nonetheless, having my manhood stuck inside the Fleshlight was extremely pleasurable. Orgasms were always hard just like when boning the real thing. In my opinion, nobody is going to have a problem getting off with this toy.
I like that the rubbery sleeve is soft and thick with an ample portion protruding from the main opening. The part that sticks out is a nice feature because it serves as a cushion for the pushin’ – so to speak.
The designers of the Fleshlight did things right in developing a stroker with a rigid exterior. Having a large solid area to grip does make a difference. It not only makes the toy easier to hold on to, but it also separates your hands farther from your cock. This lends some realism to the whole act and brings fantasy a little closer to reality.
Overall, my experience with the Fleshlight was a positive one and totally satisfying. This product is meant to be used and it shows in its quality and design.
Another good thing about the Fleshlight is that it’s not messy and cleans-up easily. Just pull the sleeve out, rinse with warm water, shake, and set aside to dry. The instructions say to avoid using soaps and detergents or risk damaging the material.
- Well made;
- Large and easy to hold on to;
- Very pleasurable;
- Not messy;
- Great for building stamina.
- Not really Ms. Akira 🙁
- If needed, remove the sleeve and heat with warm water prior to use.
- Dump plenty of water-based lube on the opening and in the hole for best results.
- Only use water-based lube.
- Only clean with warm water.
- Coat with Fleshlight Renewing Powder (corn starch) periodically to keep the toy soft.
Conclusion and Recommendation
As you can see, I like Fleshlight’s Asa Akira Forbidden masturbator. It’s easy to grip so you can thrust into it as hard and fast as you want. Also, the sleeve material is superior to that used in other products, it’s thick and cushy, and it makes my hard-on happy.
If you’re thinking about getting a Fleshlight, then do it. I don’t think there’s a better manual stroker anywhere on the planet.A Fleshlight Special Offer>>>
